We will be walking on part of the Black Diamond Trail on Monday, January 30. Weather permitting, we will meet in the parking area of this trail on Glenwood Heights Road at 11:00 AM. Please let me know if you will be joining the group.
I will send a reminder closer to the walk. If the weather is not good and we need to cancel or walk inside at the Shops at the Ithaca Mall, I will email you by 9:30 AM on January 30.
Directions:
From the intersection of West Buffalo Street and Route 89 north, Taughannock Boulevard, turn onto Route 89.
Pass Island Fitness on the left, Cass Park on both sides of the road, Hangar Theatre on the right.
Continue on Route 89 for about 4 miles.
Turn left onto Glenwood Heights Road. Parking for the trail is on the right side of the road. (You have gone too far if you get to the Glenwood Pines Restaurant. Turn around and turn right onto Glenwood Heights Road.)
