Ann Lemley will be leading the next walk on the Dryden Rail Trail from Stevenson Road.  Directions follow.  The trail is flat, unpaved, and goes through very nice scenery.  The walk will last about an hour.

 

Please let me know if you will be joining the group.  As usual, if the walk needs to be cancelled or moved inside to the Shops at the Ithaca Mall, you will be contacted by 9:30 AM on the day of the walk.  I will send out a reminder.

From the intersection of Route 366 and Pine Tree Road, take Route 366 toward Varna.

 

Pass the former store at the Cornell Apple Orchard on the right.

 

Go straight at the light, the intersection with Caldwell Road on the left and Palm Road on the right.

 

In about 1/2 mile, turn right onto Game Farm Road.

 

Take the first left, Stevenson Road.

 

Turn at the first left, on to an unpaved gravel road that goes to the Cornell solar farm and the Dryden Rail Trail.

 

Drive to the end of the road and park on either side. Do not block the drive to the solar farm. The group will meet at the beginning of the trail.
