Recently, the LLH Board Of Directors unanimosly approved the establishment of The David Sprague Sponsored Membership Fund. The fund honors David’s commitment in helping others who might need extra assistance to become an LLH member.
From the beginning LLH has set aside funds to encourage a broad and diverse membership. David was an integral part of the success of this important initiative. This membership fund will be used to continue this effort.
David was on the original LLH steering committee and continued as a Board member until his retirement from the Board in December 2022. As the Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Operations committee, his guidance was instrumental in making LLH a strong and sustainable nonprofit. David’s knowledge and passion for LLH has been invaluable.
David was a man of great integrity, deep faith, and devoted to family and the well-being of the greater community. David’s contributions to nonprofits have made a lasting impact on numerous organizations, as well as the lives of individuals and families throughout Tompkins County. David will be missed by the LLH and Tompkins County Communities.
