We will walk on the paved road and perhaps dirt paths in the Arboretum.  The beginning is somewhat uphill.  Other paths are more level. The scenery is lovely if you have not been there previously.  Directions follow.

 

Please let me know if you will be joining the group.  If you are uncertain, just come.

DIRECTIONS:

 

There are many ways to drive to the Arboretum.

 

From the intersection of Route 13 and Warren Road, take Warren Road going south toward Forest Home (opposite direction from the airport).

 

Pass Cornell's Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.

 

Go down the hill to Forest Home Drive at the stop sign.

 

Turn left.  Go over the one-lane bridge.

 

Pass Forest Home Drive on the left.

 

Turn at the next left into the Arboretum on Arboretum Road.

 

Follow the road up the hill and then down the other side.

 

Park in either of the two parking areas on the right near the ponds.  We will meet there.

 

If you are coming on Route 366 near the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine, at the light, turn left onto Caldwell Road.

 

Go down the hill.

 

Turn right onto Arboretum Road and follow the above directions.
