The History Discussion Group will examine the rise and fall of the Moghul Empire. 
Throughout the course of its over two-hundred-year (1526-1857) existence, the Mughal Empire became one of the largest centralized states of its time. By the end of the seventeenth century, the empire’s territory extended throughout today’s India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, with the emperor ruling over a population of 100-150 million. 
Join us on Tuesday, September 10th at 4:30pm as we explore the empire’s military prowess, the expansion of trade routes throughout the Indian continent, and its contributions to art and architecture.
