Our walk will leave from Stewart Park near the handicapped parking sign on the inlet side of the park. At the moment, the weather on Monday looks a bit rainy. If we have to postpone John Wiessinger's talk about identifying trees, we will walk in the Shops at the Ithaca Mall. I will let you know by 9:30 AM on Monday.
Our next walk on Monday, December 9, will be led by LLH member and naturalist, John Wiessinger, Diane's husband. He is an excellent, knowledgeable speaker. Weather permitting, he will be telling us how to identify trees in winter by their bark, buds, and branching.
We will be starting from Stewart Park (like the previous walk) on the Waterfront Trail. The path is flat and mostly paved. Dress warmly! We will be sauntering as we listen to John. See directions below. I will send a reminder.
Please let me know if you will be joining the group. If your plans change at the last minute, meet us at 11:00 AM in Stewart Park.
If the walk needs to be cancelled or the destination changed, I will let you know by 9:30 AM on the day of the walk.
