Imagining the Universe with Martha Haynes
Imagining the Universe
This regular LLH program will examine some amazing astronomical images and discuss what causes their appearance and the science behind them. Come join LLH member Martha Haynes for a close-up look at some cosmic gems, from tiny bodies in the Solar System to rocky planets around nearby stars, colossal stellar explosions, dark galaxies and supermassive black holes in the distant universe. No background necessary, just a curiosity about the universe around us.
