Led in the US by the American Society on Aging, Ageism Awareness Day draws attention to ageism and its impacts. Ageism negatively affects our health and well-being, financial security, and economy. Join us in taking action!

Whether as an organization or an individual, there are many ways to take action:

• Educate yourself and your community - Two good starting places are our resource page and The American Society on Aging’s free Ageism Awareness Day toolkit. 
• Connect with people of other ages - Read more about the power of intergenerational connection to reduce ageism and download the intergenerational conversation toolkit.
• Host a discussion - Gather people to read the book Breaking the Age Code and use our toolkit to host a conversation. Or host a video discussion. Our YouTube channel has multiple options and Antidotes to Ageism even has a discussion guide.
• Share on social media - Search for #AgeismAwarenessDay to find posts from others raising their voices together - and add yours!
