Our St. Patrick's Day walk (March 17) will be in Cass Park on the paved and unpaved flat trails.  The group will meet at 11:00 AM near the restroom building between the marina and the dog park.  Don't forget to see if any osprey are occupying their nest on the pole in the middle of the field.  Directions follow.  

Since I will be traveling and no one volunteered to be the host, please gather in the parking lot and walk north along the marina sidewalk.  That will take you beside the marina and the inlet to the gravel path that goes to the point and back to the paved road that goes behind the Hangar Theatre.  Hopefully the weather will be pleasant.  If not, enjoy St. Patrick's Day.

Directions:
 
From the intersection of North Fulton Street/Route 13 going south and Buffalo Street, turn west at the light on Buffalo.

At the next light, turn right onto Taughannock Boulevard.  

Pass Island Fitness on the left, go over the bridge, and then pass the Cass Park ice skating rink on the right.  

Continue to the next right that is just before the Hangar Theatre.

Turn there and follow the road past the dog park on the left.  Turn left into the large parking lot.

Park near the block bathroom building and meet there.
