The Food Insecurity of Tompkins County Group meets quarterly to discuss and implement ideas on how to help combat food insecurity within Tompkins County, both as individuals and collectively as a group.

Special Guest AJ Bouchie will join our meeting to talk about the services and volunteer opportunities available through Foodnet. Foodnet Meals on Wheels’ mission is to provide meals and other nutrition services that promote dignity, well-being and independence for older adults and other persons in need in Tompkins County.  The organization is a primary contributor to providing food security to Tompkins County residents. 

Optional: we encourage attendees to join the Community Dining Program in Slaterville earlier that day. Advanced registration is required (for the dining program, not for the Food Insecurity Group meeting). Community Dining Program Info HERE.
