Food Insecurity of Tompkins County Group

The Food Insecurity of Tompkins County Group meets quarterly to discuss and implement ideas on how to help combat food insecurity within Tompkins County, both as individuals and collectively as a group. The link will be sent to members the morning of in their Daily Events Email. 

Although we usually meet quarterly, we decided to meet today, 11/11/25. to to discuss how we will implement Notes for Neighbors* and other projects.

*Notes for Neighbors is a one-time volunteer opportunity particularly suited to groups.  One day each month short notes are included with the delivered meals.  The notes are essentially to brighten clients’ day.  The group agreed to participate.  AJ thought February would be the next open month, but has since indicated that March is open.
