Day Trip to the National Women's Hall of Fame and the Women's Rights National Historic Park

Spend the day in Seneca Falls at the National Women’s Hall of Fame and the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. LLH members will meet at the LLH office to carpool to the Hall of Fame located in Seneca Falls. We will receive an introductory talk from the director followed by a self-guided tour. Lunch will follow at a local restaurant and we will then head over to the Women's Rights National Historical Park. Some may wish to visit the historical houses (if open), the Weslyan Chapel, tour the Visitor Center, or simply sit and rest. Everyone will meet at the Visitor Center to leave at 4 p.m.

Please let us know if you are willing to drive by contacting the office at [email protected] or 607-319-0162. We will need at least 5 drivers.

9:45 am - meet at LLH office to carpool

11 am  - Women's Hall of Fame ($6 per person)

1:00 pm - (appx) Lunch at Parkers on Fall Bar & Grill (86 Fall Street)

3:00 pm - Women's Rights National Historical Park

Registration is required for this event, which is limited to 20 people. If more than 20 are interested, we will start a waiting list. We will offer more information about carpooling, parking, and the museum and park as that information is available. In the meantime, feel free to view the following websites.

The National Women’s Hall of Fame is the nation’s first and oldest nonprofit organization and museum dedicated to honoring and celebrating the achievements of distinguished American women.

The Women’s Rights National Historical Park tells the story of the first Women’s Rights Convention, held in Seneca Falls, New York on July 19-20, 1848. It comprises the visitor center, the historic homes (open seasonally), and the Wesleyan Chapel.
