Love Living at Home is a member-driven organiation that enables older adults age 50+ to live vibrantly while aging in place in the homes and neighborhoods they love. Love Living at Home (LLH) is committed to being a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization.

VOLUNTEER SERVICES
LLH members are eligible to receive a wide range of services from our volunteers. Volunteers are both fellow LLH members and others from the community. As a LLH member, you have access to:
- Transportation of members to medical and other appointments, shopping, and social events in Tompkins County
- Technology support such as computer troubleshooting and help in using new devices
- Errands like picking up prescriptions and groceries
- Household tasks including changing light bulbs, hanging pictures, and minor home repairs
- Support for members after hospitalizations or surgeries
- Friendly visits and calls to members to reduce social isolation and provide companionship
- Gardening including plant watering and raking leaves
- Downsizing help to organize and donate items
- Other non-professional services that our volunteers can provide.
We do not provide assistance in daily living activities (such as bathing, dressing, toileting, or transferring from a bed or chair). We also do not provide any medical or nursing services.
Keeping in Touch
LLH has a communication group for our members called Village Talk. This allows them to communicate directly, and keep each other informed about local happenings or other topics.
The office sends out a monthly newsletter (Connections) the first Saturday of each month, weekly Program Preview e-mails on Sundays, and daily zoom links for that day's events.
